Pantelleria is known all over the world for its natural beauty and for its unique landscape. Among those, the shape of the Elephant Arch is the top player: a true sculpture of lava stones that thousands of years back plunged into the blue sea of Pantelleria. A place that encloses the essence of the island and that can be admired day and night from the top, with a privileged view from the Dammuso of the Elephant: located in a unique location, it’s perfect to immerse yourself in a Mediterranean holiday and in close contact with Nature. Let’s have a look at the features of the dammuso.
The dammuso is located on the Eastern side of Pantelleria, not far from Khamma and Tracino and has the most beautiful view: it’s easy to stretch as far as the horizon, from the Arch of the Elephant up to the faraglione of Cala levante, easy to access and one of the most famous spots of the island.
The property develops on several levels and terraces and is made up by three dammusi, each one of them with a double bedroom, and can host up to 6 people that can enjoy a quiet and private holiday. What really leaves you breathless is the magnificent view, to be enjoyed from the multi-level garden perfectly integrated with the surrounding landscape and where the beautiful swimming pool is located. The interiors are wide, luminous, fresh, comfortable and finely decorated.
The dammuso is made up by three different buildings: the main one has a double bedroom with private bathroom and a wide living room with sofas, dining table and a studio area with a big window overlooking the sea, a very well equipped kitchen that has also a view over the sea.
The external area has a wide shadowed terrace with comfortable sofas. The second dammuso, water-green shaded, has a second double bedroom and a bathroom, just as the third dammuso, where the blue shades of the majolica of the pavement mix perfectly conferring style and character to the rooms. Apart from the living area, the external area has different spots in where to relax, like the shadowed terraces with sunbeds and the solarium area that surrounds the pool. Finally, there is a dining table for lunch and/ or dinner, covered with a gazebo.
Quiet and panoramic but comfortable and easy to access at the same time, the dammuso is connected to the main perimeter road of the island and Khamma and Tracino are just minutes away, just like many other spots of Pantelleria: apart from the Elephant Arch, Cala Levante and Cala Tramontana, Cala Cinque Denti, Venus Lake and Martingana.
