The magic of having a holiday in Pantelleria lays on the total peace that the landscape and the unpolluted nature can give. The pleasure of losing sight to the infinite horizon, hanging between the sky and the sea, the beauty of living a land that is magically wild but that has been softened by the presence of human life that brought sustainable architecture and farming, perfectly integrated with the landscape. A unique glamour that can be perfectly understood once entering the garden of the dammuso Yucca: located near Nikà, gives the opportunity to its guest to embrace all the beauty of one of the most fascinating areas of the island, on the south-west side, overlooking Montagna Grande and enjoying also the magnificent sunsets over the African coastline.
The property, dipped into a luxuriant garden made of Mediterranean vegetation, cactuses and exotic species, has a main dammuso and a guest house, totalling 5 bedrooms that can host up 10 people. Between the two dammuso, there’s room for a big swimming pool, covered with Sicilian majolica and positioned in a solarium with panoramic views. The fascinating Pantescan garden is a treasure box that saves the citrus tree from the winds of the island. Let’s see in detail how they are arranged.
The pool will be open from the 1st June to the 30th September.
Dammuso Yucca: structure of the main dammuso
It’s a typical pantescan property that was recently refurbished and has all the comforts and where to breathe north African charm and atmosphere, in its colours, in the shapes and in the furniture. In the interior of the main dammuso, of around 60sqm, there are 2 independent bedrooms of which one has a MyForm mattress and the other one, a very wide room that has two beds, can be rearranged by joining them and has a private terrace and access. The room are connected through a hall and a living room, decorated with furniture ethnic-inspired. A bathroom with double sink and an Arab-style shower with original tiles from Morocco, complete the dammuso. The kitchen, small but practical, is very well equipped with oven, a big fridge, a 4 gas-stove and kitchenware for up to 12 people. Walking out from the dammuso is impossible not to remain breathless with the panoramic view of the terrace, equipped with a dining table made of solid white elm. The perfect place to have breakfast or to have lunch with an impressive scenario. The terrace also has a shadowed relax area, only of the many that characterise the external spaces of the dammuso
Dammuso Yucca: structure of the guest house
Not far from the main dammuso, there’s a guest house that develops over two levels that is characterised by spaces and areas completely independent. Inside of the structure there are two rooms: one double bedroom with MyForm mattress and another one with two beds that can be joined, located in the mezzanine.
Each room has ensuite bathroom; the furniture is stylish and finely chosen, with an elegant but simple design where the several North-African inspired accessories find their place. From the double bedroom there’s a wonderful and picturesque view facing the palm trees and cactuses garden and with the blue colour of the sea on the back.
