Pantelleria, or the Black Pearl of the Mediterranean, is not an accidental definition, because if the green of capers and vineyards, together with the blue of the sea seem even more vivid, it is also due to the scenery on which they are located, and which recalls the volcanic origins of the island. The Dammuso il Carrubbo: a property located in Nikà, in one of the most beautiful places on the island, surrounded by Mediterranean vegetation right next to the cove that gives its name to the contrada. Next to the black volcanic rock, you can admire the red fire of the breath taking sunsets from the terraces of the dammuso. Around, only the nature and a lush Mediterranean garden frame one of the most beautiful views of the island.
Dammuso Il carrubbo: garden and interior spaces
The dammuso is surrounded by a property of 12 thousand square meters, all preserved and cultivated with olive trees and fields of oregano, in addition to the large garden around the house and the pine forest that borders the property. The garden, in particular, is the result of the creation of the landscape architect Ines Lommatzsch, who has created a real natural jewel in which to find a multitude of Mediterranean species.
Inside, the dammuso Il Carrubbo can accommodate up to 6 people in two double bedrooms and a third bedroom with a double bed. All rooms are furnished with taste and paying attention to each finish. Access is from the large living room with sofas, open to the well-equipped kitchen with masonry breakfast table. The two double bedrooms are both equipped with private bathroom with shower, while the third bedroom has a smaller bathroom with no shower.
Outside, the shadowed terraces are the perfect place to carve out relaxing moments with sea views. Here there are also a barbecue and a dining table; the private masonry pool with solarium area equipped with sun beds and deck chairs complete the spaces. But the Carrubbo is a continuous discovery: on the back of the dammuso there are also relaxing corners well sheltered from the winds and a small Pantescan garden.
