Beauty is never obvious. It becomes a miracle when it manifests itself through the elements of nature in their maximum expression. This is what happens to those who stay in the dammuso Mare Blu in Pantelleria: the air, in the gentle breeze of the wind; the land, the harsh and welcoming at the same time, of the island; the water of the Mediterranean, which inspires the name of this house; finally the fire, in the sunsets that you can admire from the terrace of dammuso.
The swimming pool will be open from June 1 to September 30.
Dammuso Mare Blu: composition and spaces
Located in contrada Rekhale, in the south-west of the island, Mare Blu is characterised by a privileged position, nestled among the rolling hills of Pantelleria from where to enjoy a sea and sunset view that gives new emotions every day.
The dammuso is surrounded by a lush garden and is part of a larger property in which there is also another house, but closed during the rental period, thus ensuring guests absolute privacy and exclusive use of the beautiful infinity pool.
Access to the house, which can accommodate up to 4 people, is by a cozy and bright living area, cared for in every detail, in which there is also the dining area and kitchen. Adjacent to the living room is the first double bedroom, equipped with a comfortable walk-in wardrobe and an attached bathroom, while crossing a charming Pantescan garden you'll reach the second double bedroom, also equipped with private bathroom.
The outdoor spaces are a must, with many relaxing corners where you can enjoy absolute peace and tranquility: in addition to the panoramic swimming pool with solarium, the dammuso has a pleasant terrace shaded by typical cannizzi and where you can have lunch and dinner in the open air with a sea view to 180 degrees.
The surroundings of the dammuso Mare Blu
Mare Blu is located in contrada Rekhale, on the southwestern side of Pantelleria. Despite being in an extremely quiet area, the location of the dammuso is strategic to easily reach the contrade of Scauri and Rekhale, where you can shop, find services such as ATM and pharmacy, leave for boat excursions or even dine and have an aperitif in one of the local and typical restaurants. The property is also a short distance from Nikà, Scauri Scalo and Sataria, while going in the opposite direction, you can reach some of the most unspoilt places of Pantelleria, such as Balata dei Turchi and Martingana.
