The Benimingallo Dammusi: two small gems nestled in pristine nature
We are in the district of Benimingallo, among the most unspoiled places on the island. The unique setting in which it is located brings us back to the true essence of the island, with its geometric terraces, endless vineyards, and the sea as a backdrop. The first dammuso has undergone careful conservation restoration, while the second dammuso requires completion, especially in the outdoor spaces.
The interiors of the first dammuso are designed to enhance the original volumes, offering a welcoming environment that includes the original kitchen with a fireplace and a table for 6 guests. The bathroom is extraordinary, also featuring external access, and a unique bedroom, thanks to its orientation which allowed the creation of a sundial with a meridian drawn on the roof. The exteriors are harmoniously integrated with the surrounding nature, featuring a small terrace shaded by a wonderful pergola of zibibbo. The dammuso is equipped with heating for the colder months. A short distance away is the second dammuso, consisting of a small entrance with provision for a kitchenette, a double bedroom to the left, and a small bathroom to the right. Outside the property, a cistern ensures the water autonomy of the property, with the possibility of defining a shaded terrace in front of the dammuso.
